Hellenic Management Association (HMA) was founded in 1962. It is a non-profit organisation, which aims at the dissemination, development and promotion of the principles, methods and practice of contemporary management. Today, HMA counts 4000 members, 400 of which are enterprises and organisations, while the rest are individuals, mainly chief and senior executive officers, businessmen, university professors and others. HMA nowadays incorporates seven institutes dealing with specific management operations: The Hellenic Institute of Marketing, The Institute of Financial Management, The Institute of Production and Operations Management, The Hellenic Institute of Information Technology Management, The Institute of Human Resource Management, Women's Organisation of Managers and Entrepreneurs, Institute of Management of Public Administration and Local Authorities. Apart from its central offices in Athens, HMA has also regional branches in Macedonia, the Peloponnese and Western Greece, Crete and Thessalia. In late 2004, the "Cyprus Management Association" (CMA), a non profit organisation, was founded under the initiative of HMA and the Employers and Industrialists Federation. HMA currently employs a staff of approximately 70 people, while, at the same time, it cooperates with 535 trainers. All services of HMA have been recently certified according to the prerequisites of ISO 9001:1994

SEV Hellenic Federation of Enterprises

SEV constitutes the institutional representative of private venture par excellence. It represents those forces which produce wealth and generate new jobs. It is the independent voice of those who venture in Greece. SEV is an institutionally established social partner that participates in the dialogue within Greek society and fights for social progress and cohesion. Most branches and sectors of the Greek economy are already represented in the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) which this year turns 100 years old. SEV voices the unity and joint action of the entrepreneurial community, constitutes a basic vehicle for business and innovation values, of vocational education and training, sustainable development, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility.


Foundation of Economic and Industrial Research

The Foundation of Economic and Industrial Research is a private, not for profit inquiring organisation beneficial to the public. It was founded in 1975 with two aims: it promotes the scientific research for the running and emerging problems of Greek while providing objective information and formulation of propositions, which are useful in the configuration of policy.


Entrepreneurship Club

The Entrepreneurship Club has been founded in 1995, on HMA’s initiative, from twenty-four top businessmen. It is a not for profit association and it aspires, it elects and supports the worthiest young entrepreneurs of our country as they prove through their enterprising activity.
